Almost 125 years ago in 1901, Rudolf Virchow welcomed many highly renowned scientists from both, Berlin and the whole world, into the lecture hall for anatomy and pathology of the Charité. Following the multiple bombing of the year 1944-45, and now restored as a museum displaying about 300 years of medical history, it provides a unique space for the CARS’s 40th history social event. An ideal setting for the exchange of thoughts and ideas and for building personal and professional, international and interdisciplinary relationships.
