TIMEZONE
You can use a timezone converter like this one. Timezone: UTC +9, Japan Standard Time (JST)
TRANSLATION APP
You can install a translator app on your Smartphone (e.g. Google Translate). It will work offline once you’ve downloaded all relevant languages.
PAYMENTS IN JAPAN
While credit cards are widely accepted at the venue and major outlets, some smaller shops and restaurants remain cash-only. We recommend carrying some Japanese yen, and a transit IC card (such as Suica, ICOCA, or the local Manaca) is convenient for trains, buses, and many stores.
WEATHER
Early July in Nagoya is warm and humid, with occasional rain as the rainy season draws to a close. We suggest light, breathable clothing and a compact umbrella; indoor areas are air-conditioned and can feel cool, so a light layer is handy.
